PIN would like to invite an energetic, disciplined, responsible Female Intern Applicant for Logistics Unit.
Position 1 – Logistics Intern
Length of internship: for 6 months
Required Number: 1 (One)
Responsibilities and Duties Of the Position
- This position requires someone highly motivated; an ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to multitask; and strong organizational and time management skills. This position is looking for someone motivated to learn new skills quickly and has the potential for growth to take on increasing responsibility in the future. PIN Ethiopia’s Intern positions are open to Female applicants only.
- Advise and manage guest house plans and the resources available for completion of the guests (ex-pats) support.
- Apply all safety measures on PIN Guest house premises and promote safety culture in the compound equipped
- Set up and track appropriate documents.
- Manage the guest house admin report timely and share to log.co.
- Responsible for implementation of the scope of work as related to logistic management, in conformance with PIN resources and in accordance with the approved Project Schedule.
- Work closely with Logistics Officers to Support the maintenance of warehousing/storage facilities, conducting regular inspections and cleaning of facilities.
- Preparation of the warehouse/storage facilities for goods receipt and dispatch and assists with loading and offloading activities
- dispatch PIN stock as requested, according to the allocation and complying with the PIN receiving and dispatching procedure.
- Ensure to sign on the GDN, GRN, IR to acknowledge the receipt and dispatching of the stocks and submit the summarized daily report to roving logistics and WTO.
- Ensures that stock cards are put on respective stacks and balance quantities stated on stock cards are equal to the stack and record any spillage collected in a warehouse in the Bin cards.
- Prepare necessary documents for goods receipt, dispatch, damage, loss, and disposal, and file records per established standards.
Requirement
- A Minimum Bachelor degree’s in supply and chain management, Business Administration, Management, Business Management and other related fields of study from a recognized higher education institution.
- Highly Motivated, able and willing to learn new tasks/skills quickly
- Ability to work in fast and demanding environment
- only zero years of work experience is required.
- Graduate of 2013 and 2014 E.C
- Organizational skill and ability to prioritize and multi-tasking
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Good command of MS Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

Position 2 – Lisec Project(Intern)
length of internship: for 6 months
Required Number: 2 (Two)
Responsibilities and Duties
This position requires someone highly motivated; an ability to work in a fast-paced environment; the ability to multitask; and strong organizational and time management skills. This position is looking for someone motivated to learn new skills quickly and has the potential for growth to take on increasing responsibility in the future. PIN Ethiopia’s Intern positions are open to Female applicants only.
Duties and responsibilities of a potential intern
- Facilitated engagement of Target recruitment committee in the identification of appropriate beneficiaries for short term training
- Support Field Coordinators in providing orientation to unemployed youth about the objective of the project and their involvement in the implementation
- Support project team in trainees’ identification, Registration and keeping their profile both in hard copy and soft copy; and make sure that gender proportion as per the project interest is balanced (make sure that 60% of the beneficiaries are women)
- Work closely with the OSSC and support them in delivering employment service to unemployed youth—promotion of OSSC services, counselling and organization of various training with regard to services delivered at the OSSC
- Support project team in tracking attendance of short-term trainees at TVET college and facilitate timely payment transportation cost
- Support the Field Coordinator in overall facilitation of short-term training and cooperative training is well managed
- Support Field coordinators with regard to EMA application at TVET college
- Support project team in delivering activities that target MSMEs to develop their enterprises
- Maintain liaison between the project and stakeholders: OSSC, TVET, Job creation and skill offices, and other pertinent line offices
- Support project team in the organization of various events: meetings, workshop, training
- Support project team in handling various administrative duties
Requirements
