The Role:
As our Retail Outlet Cashier, it is your responsibility to provide the best experience possible to every consumer (Punter) you interact with while on duty. Being professional, knowledgeable, well groomed, polite and precise are critical to achieving this. Each cashier is responsible for placing bets (stakes) on behalf of customers, creating new customers, explaining products to customers and ensuring customers are duly paid their winnings when they win.
What you will be doing:
- Ensuring the betting environment is clean, and well presented, always.
- Ensure all sales tools are working correctly before each working hour begins:
- All displays, all computers, tablets and booking systems is spot on
- Internet is active and loaded
- There is credit on the account to receive bet.
- Printers are all ready and have paper (and ink where applicable)
- Fixtures have been printed and displayed for Punters
- Accurate placement of bets on the BetKing platform on behalf of customers
- Providing education and awareness to punters on BetKing products and “how to play”
- Accurately manage all cash taken
- Ensure cash float (for payment of winnings) is correct at the beginning of each shift
- Reconcile sales and winnings paid, across all products with cash on hand at the end of every shift (working day)
- Escalate feedback and other issues to the appropriate department
- Providing guarantor and having your TIN (Tax Identification Number)
- Starting Basic Salary of Cashier: 3,050.00. You will have the chance to be a Senior Cashier based on your performance with increased salary.
- Working Locations: Addis Ababa. Our betting shops are located in all sub-cities of Addis Ababa, working locations is decided on living areas of Cashiers.
- If you consistently achieve your sales targets, you will earn additional income in bonuses on top of your basic salary.
