United Nations Economic Commission for Africa was established in 1958 by the United Nations Economic and Social Council to encourage economic cooperation among its member states following a recommendation of the United Nations General Assembly. It is one of five regional commissions.

Education
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Additional education in business administration, human resources management or related field is desirable.
Job – Specific Qualification
Passing the UN’s Global General Services Test (GGST) is required. Please refer to the Special Notice section for additional information about the GGST.
Work Experience
Five years of experience in human resources management, administrative services or related area is required.
Experience with the onboarding of newcomers and induction programmes is desirable.
Experience working with virtual L&D (learning and development) platforms is desirable.
Languages
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the position advertised, fluency in English is required; knowledge of French is desirable. Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage.
