Position 1 – Development Worker
Qualification,Experience & Skill
University degree or professional qualification in e.g. computer sciences, systems architecture, software engineering and/or related to developing software
Proven knowledge, as well as experience and understanding of the digital concepts and tools for digitalization of manual processes and blended learning approaches
Initial experience in the field of development/international cooperation in Africa is of advantage
Hands on experience with digital content development and blended learning approaches are an asset
Sensitivity towards, or experience with, approaches to gender equality and inclusion
Structured work style with a high degree of self-organization, flexibility and creativity
Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills are an asset
Business fluent in English, knowledge of German is an advantage; willingness to learn the local language, Amharic/Sidama

Position 2 – Senior Prosecutions and Policing Expert
Qualifications and skills
Degree in law, policing, human rights or related field. Post-graduate degree in relevant field would be an advantage.

Specific professional experience
Previous experience as a financial manager and/or procurement officer of EU funded projects
or programmes is required.
Previous experience in projects or programmes focused on public finance, taxation, budget,
expenditure, procurement, and internal/external auditing is required.
Demonstrable experience in financial management capacity development (training, on-the-job
support, guidance, hand-holding etc.) and for Integrated Budget and Expenditure system
(IBEX) and Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS).
Experience in updating financial procedures and manuals for planning, budgeting, and
accounting, cash management and cascading of financial and audit regulations and guidelines.
Technical knowledge and experience in International Public Sector Accounting Standards
(IPSAS); Treasury Single Account (TSA); and similar accounting standards.

Qualifications and skills
Degree in statistics, M&E, research, project management or related field. In the absence of a
degree, at least 15 years’ experience in statistics, M&E, research, project management or
related field.

General professional experience
