Position 1 – Human Rights Manager

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
·       The individual for this role will need to be passionate about sustainable development in an African context, and ideally hold relevant qualifications and/or certifications (Masters-level qualifications from reputable institutions preferred).

5+ years of professional experience in Africa, preferably in Ethiopia. Specific experience working in human rights, conflict sensitivity, privacy and data protection, labor rights, technology product development, security and           law enforcement training, or other related fields will be a strong advantage.
Strong commitment to integrity, sustainability, ethics and good governance and be able to demonstrate leadership and drive in promoting corporate human rights performance.
Self-starter and motivated individual with a pro-active attitude, willing to get involved in all aspects of a new business with a clear mission.
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships and communicate clearly and effectively at different levels and across functions (both internally and externally).
Capable of dealing with board, senior management, shareholders, staff and third parties with confidence, independence and authority.
Able to handle sensitive and confidential matters with tact and discretion.
Effective management skills, strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to make well-reasoned, independent and transparent decisions within short timeframes.
Experience in developing and implementing action plans in a matrixed organization, preferably including risk management plans.
Experience in managing a team and in complying with reporting requirements from investors will be an advantage.

Position 2 – Enterprise Integration Engineer

Qualification & Experience

IT, Engineering, Computer Science/Software Engineering/IT.
At least three years’ experience a busy telecommunication/ IT environment or Software Engineering
Extensive programming experience using Java J2EE, Spring, Spring boot, SQL, JMS, C++/C#.
Extensive experience with databases – data structures, relational data model, Stored Procedures, PL/SQL development or NoSQL DBs.
Extensive experience of web services/technologies – REST/JSON, WSDL, XML, JavaScript.
Experience with application security technologies (e.g., SSL) to ensure secure applications.
Experience in Agile Development/software life-cycle development (SDLC).
Preferred experience with Apache Tomcat application server, Glassfish and SOA.
Preferred experience with Linux/AIX OS’s.
Hands-on with Maven build scripts/ Curie moving to Git Hub
Strong Critical thinkers/ work independent
ITIL or ISO training and certification
ITIL training and certification
Certification or training in TIBCO technologies, Oracle SOA, MuleSoft, WSO2 TIBCO FOS (or any order management framework), Oracle or TIBCO BPM.
Certification or training in architecture or business analysis is an added advantage.

Position 3 – Civil Works Expert – Design Engineer

Qualification & Experience

BSc degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized University.
Be a registered Engineer in Ethiopia by the Construction Professionals, Companies and Machineries, Competence and Registration Bureau – Designs (Candidates who are in the process of registration are eligible for this position)
At least 2 years’ experience in civil engineering field of which 1 year has been in a design office.
Working Knowledge in AutoCAD software
Working Knowledge in Structural analysis software: Any of these: STAAD, Prokon, ETABS
Basic Knowledge in Steel towers design standards.
Knowledge in tower analysis software’s will be an added advantage.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to details, Communication and interpersonal skills, Excellent problem-solving skills
Working knowledge and skills in office applications: Word, Excel, Power point

Position 4 – Manager, Core Network Engineering

Qualification & Experience

Bachelors/Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, communication Engineering or related field of study.
Minimum 10 years of network planning, optimization, and engineering experience in a wireless environment either with an MNO, carrier or a vendor/consulting firm serving this industry.
Strong knowledge and experience in systems integration techniques, system engineering, systems management, and KPI reporting.
In-depth knowledge of 2G/3G/4G/5G Core Network technologies and optimization skills and methods (parameters, KPI’s reporting, configuration)
Good knowledge on Core CS, IMS/EPC 2G/3G/4G signaling and protocol layers (SS7, Diameter, SIP/SIP-I, MAP/ISUP/, TCP/IP, GTP C/U, S1AP, RANAP, etc.
Understanding of Mobile Network different interfaces (i.e. Iu, A, Gx, Gy, S1, S5, S11, S6a, SGS, Gi, ISUP, BICC, MAP, CAP, SIP, ISC, Sh, Cx, Rx, Mw etc.)
Solid understanding of IP networking and related technology
Knowledgeable in Network Function Virtualization infrastructure (NFVi)
Experience in analysis and optimization in telecommunications environment
Knowledge of VoWifi and 5GC will be an added advantage.

Position 5 – Principal Specialist – SCM Systems

Education & Experience

Degree in Information Technology, Business or similar qualification
A Graduate Diploma Qualification in Supply Chain Management is an added advantage.
Extensive experience in implementation or support of supply chain systems.
Strong orientation in Project Management and Business analytics is essential.
At least 5-7 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Finance, Project Management, Audit or similar function with responsibility  for process continuous improvement or governance in an environment leveraging ERP and other digital capabilities for business functions and processes.

Position 6 – Principal Specialist-SCM Governance and Reporting

Education & Experience
Degree in Information Technology, Business or similar qualification
A Graduate Diploma Qualification in Supply Chain Management is an added advantage.
Strong orientation in Project Management and Business analytics is essential.
At least 5-7 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Finance, Project Management, Audit or similar function with responsibility for process continuous improvement or governance in an environment leveraging ERP and other digital capabilities for business functions and processes

Position 7 – Route to customer (RTC) Manager

Education & Experience:

·       Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field

·       Research and development experience

·       Minimum 8 years’ experience in a trade sales and development role.

·       Minimum 3 – years’ experience in a people management role.

Functional Competencies:

·       Strong commercial acumen and business development skills

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving Skills (statistics)

·       Exceptional collaboration and leadership skills.

·       Excellent listening and communication skills

·       Must be self-motivated, quick-thinker, and result oriented.

·       English proficiency with excellent written and oral communication skills.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages is mandatory. (MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Position 8 – Research Lead

Requirements

  • Upper second-class degree in Business or Commerce from a recognized University
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience of managing research projects in Telecom, FMCG or research firms; from brief to debrief, either client or agency side, either qualitative or quantitative, is essential.
  • A proven track record of using a range of research methodologies -qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods.
  • Proven experience with knowledge translation, including synthesizing data and information for different audiences and articulating key insights.
  • A persuasive and tactful communicator, able to express complex or commercial issues in simplified language for research experts and non-experts.
  • Experience delivering results both through individual contribution and through collaboration efforts with different business functions.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at the same time
  • A change leader with experience driving uptake and adoption of research across different stakeholders including C-level executives
  • A highly motivated self-starter with an agile mindset emulating agile ways of working.
  • Strong problem-solving skills combined with a track record of pivoting in response to opportunities and challenges.
  • High level knowledge of commercial knowledge.
  • Experience in working with the telecommunications/technology sector additional benefit.

Technical Competencies Required

  • Highly Proficient in various research methodologies (Qual-FGs, Ethnos, IDIs; Quant – CATI, F2F, Self-completion etc.) including design & use of corresponding tools & instruments.
  • Highly proficient in data collection designs and data analysis including experience applying. advanced analytical modelling techniques.
  • Highly Proficient at crafting insights that tell a story from a defined data or information sets.
  • Highly proficient in research tools including Excel, Power BI, Tableau, R, SPSS, SAS, NVivo, Atlas.
