- Strong oral, written, interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
- Some support experience in supporting applications/troubleshooting.
- Worked with APIs and troubleshooting APIs.
- WAN/LAN Interconnect experience.
- Managing, Configuring and Troubleshooting switches, routers and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses.
- Knowledge of basic network architecture concepts (zones/DMZ, VLANs, segmentation, subnetting).
- Basic understanding of dynamic routing protocols a plus.
- Good working knowledge of basic firewall configuration concepts (ACL, NAT/PAT, routing statements, ports, protocols, VPNs) is desirable.
